Ingredients
- 1/2 cup low-sodium soy sauce
- 1/4 cup unseasoned rice vinegar
- 2 tbsp honey or brown sugar
- 1 tbsp toasted sesame oil
- 3 garlic cloves, minced
- 1-inch piece ginger root, grated
- 1/2 tsp red pepper flakes (optional)
Instructions
- Prep your ingredients by finely chopping garlic and ginger.
- In a bowl, whisk together soy sauce, rice vinegar, honey or brown sugar, sesame oil, minced garlic, and grated ginger until smooth.
- If desired, add red pepper flakes for heat and mix well.
- Taste the sauce and adjust sweetness or spice levels as needed.
- Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to two weeks.
