Ingredients
Scale
- 3 boneless, skinless chicken breasts (about 1.5 lbs)
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 cup panko breadcrumbs
- 2 large eggs
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp onion powder
- 1 tsp paprika
- 1 tsp salt
- ½ tsp black pepper
- Oil for frying (about 1 cup)
Instructions
- 1. Prep Your Station: Gather all ingredients and tools—mixing bowls, a baking sheet lined with parchment paper, and a skillet.
- 2. Cut Chicken: Slice the chicken breasts into strips about 1 inch wide.
- 3. Set Up Breading Station: In one bowl, mix flour with garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and pepper. In another bowl, whisk the eggs until frothy. Place panko breadcrumbs in a third bowl.
- 4. Bread Chicken Strips: Dip each strip into the flour mixture, then into the egg, and finally coat with breadcrumbs.
- 5. Fry Until Golden: Heat oil in a skillet over medium heat. Fry chicken strips in batches until golden brown and crispy on both sides (about 3–4 minutes per side).
- 6. Drain and Serve: Place cooked strips on paper towels to absorb excess oil. Serve warm with your choice of dipping sauces.
