- 1 lb pizza dough (store-bought or homemade)
- 4 oz pepperoni slices
- 1 ½ cups freshly shredded mozzarella cheese
- ¼ cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 tsp Italian seasoning
- 2 tbsp olive oil (for brushing)
- ½ cup marinara sauce (for dipping)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C). If using store-bought dough, let it rest at room temperature.
- Roll out the pizza dough into circles about 8 inches in diameter.
- On one half of each circle, place mozzarella cheese, followed by pepperoni slices and a sprinkle of Italian seasoning.
- Fold the other half over to create a semicircle and press edges together to seal.
- Place calzones on a greased baking sheet and brush tops with olive oil.
- Bake for 15-20 minutes until golden brown and bubbly.
- Serve hot with marinara sauce on the side.
